Sufficiency, Sustainability and Innovation
The Sufficiency4Sustainability (S4S) network seeks to promote thought, communication, and action across three areas: sufficiency, sustainability, and innovation.
While each of these areas has its own networks and associations, they do not always interact. If we are to develop and promote policies to achieve economic, social, political and ecological sustainability, eliminating shortfalls in access to basic needs for all (sufficiency) is a necessary condition. Innovation can help achieve both sufficiency and sustainability.
Value change and appropriate public policies can help orient innovation to foster sufficiency and sustainability.
See the About Us page to learn more about why we advocate sufficiency for sustainability, and what we do to promote it.
